I'm Back!

I’m back!

Well, I have been wallowing in my own self-pity for a while. So for the sake of saving you from boring, annoying and needless whining I have not blogged the past two weeks. That being said I am glad to be back and talking about all the wonderful fun things I do like in my life.

Right Now … Allison has stolen my bed! Look at this goober she keeps taking all of the covers and snatching my pillows.

Right Now … Allison also makes a pretty great Tinker Bell. Thank you Aunt Gay for the Christmas present last year, she really likes wearing the costume. She was so sad when we came home and took it off that she cried. She cried like I had just eaten her last cookie.

It rained the first part of the event and she really didn't like covering up her costume.

Right Now … Allison and I have been catching up on all of our holiday baking shows to prepare for the upcoming season. I am ready to turn churn out some yummy presents. Sometimes she does not think they are as exciting as I do.

Right Now … 30 SECONDS TO MARS!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Jared Leto is just so great. April and I had the best time dancing and singing and generally getting all gooey eyed during the entire concert.  Panic at the Disco and New Politics opened at the Hollywood Bowl; the night was clear and bright with a white high moon shining behind us while we watched the symphonic spectacle. During each song a new “toy” was brought out to heighten out listening experience; there were giant colored balloons let loose filled with a mix of helium to bounce all over the audience, there was a giant cartoon balloon animal that was paraded around the aisles and tiny LED flashing lights were handed out to the audience to wear. After it was done I got to taste my first street dog on Hollywood Boulevard, I could not resist the smell of grilled onions and bacon! Bacon wrapped hot dogs with grilled onions, that is an amazing smell and they tasted pretty good too.

Beer line!

Right Now … I am cooking and canning again. I was able to make really great cheese enchiladas with the help of my friend Noelle and her spectacular pork green chili sauce. I am also canning; I have received some really nice fresh fruit and peppers from friends and my husband and I have been whipping up some tasty creations. I really like canning it makes me feel so accomplished to see the jars full of yummy goodness.

So I will catch up on a few other significant events that have happened amongst my family when I have the pictures all sorted. I am kind of falling behind on things but I will get to it. J

Enjoy another glorious weekend.
